No. The stone is an 8A-grade cubic zirconia, a lab-created stone cut in the classic round brilliant shape for bright, clear sparkle.

What's the difference between the Amélie Eternal Brilliance and the Amélie Moissanite Necklace?
Both are 6.5mm round brilliant solitaires in prong settings on rhodium-plated 925 silver. The difference is the stone. The Amélie Eternal Brilliance uses an 8A cubic zirconia on a 44cm chain. The Amélie Moissanite uses a 1 carat moissanite, which shows more fire and is much harder. It comes with a GRA certificate and the MNML Signature Case. What does 8A cubic zirconia mean?
8A is a supplier grade used for high-quality cubic zirconia. It indicates a stone selected for clarity, clean colour and precise cutting. CZ grades aren't an official gemmological standard, but higher grades generally look brighter and clearer than lower ones.

How does a round brilliant cut create sparkle?
A round brilliant has 57 or 58 facets. The upper facets let light in, and the lower facets reflect it back up through the top of the stone. That returned light is what you see as sparkle. The round shape spreads it evenly in every direction.

Where does a 44cm necklace sit?
