Its band is just 1mm, a slim arc of rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver that barely registers on the finger. Across its upper face runs a row of micro pavé cubic zirconia. The tiny stones sit side by side with almost no metal between them, so the row reads as one unbroken line of light. It isn't the flash of a solitaire. It's a soft, continuous shimmer.

It's a half eternity band. The stones cover the top of the ring, where they're seen, and the lower band stays plain, polished silver for comfort and strength. On a band this fine, that's the most practical way to wear pavé.

What is micro pavé?
Pavé is a setting where small stones sit close together with very little metal between them. Micro pavé uses even smaller stones, set more tightly, so the row reads as a continuous line of light rather than separate stones.

What is a half eternity ring?
A half eternity ring has stones across the top of the band only, and the lower section is left plain. A full eternity ring has stones all the way around. On a slim band, half eternity places the stones where they're seen and keeps the underside smooth and comfortable.

What's the difference between clear and blue?
Both use 3A cubic zirconia in the same micro pavé row on the same 1mm band. Clear gives a cool, white sparkle that goes with any ring. Blue is a soft, muted powder blue that adds a quiet touch of colour.

Are the stones real diamonds?
No. The LYCIA is set with 3A cubic zirconia, a lab-created stone.

What size should I choose?
The LYCIA comes in US 5, 6, 7 and 8, with inner diameters of 15.7mm, 16.5mm, 17.3mm and 18.2mm. Measure a ring that fits you well, or wrap a strip of paper around your finger, mark where it overlaps, and divide that length by 3.14. If you're between sizes, go up.

How do I stack the LYCIA?
Its 1mm band sits closely beside other rings. Pair it with the CARRÉE for a contrast of square and round, or with the MARGARET for sparkle beside pearls. The blue version adds a quiet colour note to an all-silver stack.

How do I care for a micro pavé ring?
Micro pavé stones are tiny and held by small beads of metal, so take the LYCIA off before lifting weights, gardening, cleaning or anything that might knock your hands. Check the stones now and then. If one looks loose, stop wearing the ring until it's been checked. Avoid squeezing the band, as a 1mm band can bend out of shape.

Will the LYCIA tarnish?
Sterling silver can darken over time, and rhodium plating wears gradually with regular use. Rings wear fastest because they meet water, soap and sanitiser so often. Take it off before washing your hands or applying lotion, and store it dry in its pouch.

Can I shower or swim with the LYCIA?
No. Take it off before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping. Water, soap and chlorine speed up tarnishing on silver and dull the pavé stones.

Is the LYCIA suitable for sensitive skin?
