The classic solitaire, done simply.
The Sawyer holds a single round moissanite in a six-prong setting, the most traditional solitaire form there is. Six prongs grip the stone evenly and leave it open to the light from every side, so you get the full brilliance and fire.
The stone is 6.5mm, the same face-up size as a classic 1 carat round diamond. Moissanite has more fire than diamond, so it throws flashes of rainbow light as you move. It's certified by GRA, which documents the stone's grading.
It hangs on a fine cable chain of rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver, a fixed 45cm with a spring ring clasp. That length places the pendant close to the collarbone. Wear it alone as your signature piece, or layer it with shorter chains above.
It arrives in the MNML Signature Case, with space for its certificate.
Timeless, from the first wear.

FAQ
How big is the Sawyer's stone?
The round moissanite measures about 6.5mm across. That's the same face-up size as a classic 1 carat round diamond. It's clearly visible at the neckline without feeling oversized.
Why a six-prong setting?
Six prongs hold the stone more evenly than four, and they keep its round outline looking full. It's the most traditional solitaire setting, and it lets light reach the stone from almost every side.
How is the Sawyer different from the Amélie and Grace moissanite necklaces?
All three are 6.5mm round moissanite solitaires in the Moissanite Series. The Grace sits between two slim bars, so it looks as if it's floating. The Amélie and the Sawyer are both prong-set. The Amélie comes on a 40cm chain with a 5cm extender. The Sawyer comes on a fixed 45cm chain, which sits closer to the collarbone.
Is the Sawyer's chain adjustable?
No. The Sawyer comes on a fixed 45cm chain with no extender.
Where does the Sawyer sit?
At 45cm, the pendant rests near the collarbone on most people.
Does the Sawyer come with a certificate?
Yes. Each necklace includes a GRA certificate documenting the moissanite's grading. Keep it in the Signature Case with your necklace.
What is moissanite?
Moissanite is a gemstone made of silicon carbide, first found in fragments of a meteorite and now grown in a lab. It's very hard, at 9.25 on the Mohs scale, and it has more fire than diamond.
How do I clean a moissanite necklace?
Soak the pendant briefly in warm water with a drop of mild soap, brush gently behind the stone with a soft toothbrush, rinse, and pat dry. This removes the skin oils that can cloud the sparkle.
Will the Sawyer tarnish?
The moissanite won't tarnish. The sterling silver setting and chain can darken over time, though, and rhodium plating wears gradually with regular use. Keep the necklace away from perfume, lotion and chlorine, and store it dry in its case.
What clasp does the Sawyer use?
A spring ring clasp. Pull back the small lever to open it, hook it onto the end ring, then release.
Can I shower or swim with the Sawyer?
No. Take it off before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping. Water, sweat and chlorine speed up tarnishing on the silver.
Is the Sawyer suitable for sensitive skin?
Rhodium plating over 925 sterling silver is well tolerated by most skin types, because the plating sits between the silver alloy and your skin. If your skin reacts easily to metals, the titanium pieces in MNML's Elements collection are the most reliable choice.
What packaging does the Sawyer come in?
The Sawyer arrives in the MNML Signature Case, a velvet-flocked box with a fitted cushion insert and space for the GRA certificate.
Is the Sawyer a good gift?
Yes. A certified moissanite solitaire is a classic, meaningful gift for anniversaries and milestones.
