Each letter is about 1cm and pavé-set with cubic zirconia, so it sparkles across its full shape. It's made in rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver and hangs from a small jump ring, so you can add it to a chain you already own.

FAQ

Does the initial pendant come with a chain?
No. This is the pendant only, and the chain is not included. It's designed to be added to a chain of your choice.

Which chains does the pendant fit?
The pendant slides onto a chain through its jump ring. The chain's clasp or end ring has to pass through that jump ring, so it suits most fine chains. Some thicker chains or larger clasps may not fit. If you're unsure, contact MNML customer service and we'll help you choose a chain that works.

Can I wear more than one letter?
Yes. Each letter is sold individually, so you can add several to one chain for initials, a short name or a meaningful word.

Will the letters stay in order on the chain?
Not always. Letters on the same chain slide together and can turn or overlap as you move, so they won't always line up in reading order. To keep them neater, wear two or three letters rather than a long word. You can also choose a chain with slightly more texture, which helps stop them sliding.

Can the pendant be engraved?
No. Each letter is a finished pavé design, and engraving isn't available on this piece.

What is the pendant made of?
Rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver, pavé-set with cubic zirconia.

Are the stones real diamonds?
No. The letters are set with cubic zirconia, a lab-created stone.

Will the pendant tarnish?
Sterling silver can darken over time, and rhodium plating wears gradually with regular use, often faster in humid weather. Keep it away from perfume, lotion and chlorine, and store it dry in its pouch.

Can I shower or swim with the pendant?
No. Take it off before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping. Water, sweat and chlorine speed up tarnishing on silver and dull the stones.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Rhodium plating over 925 sterling silver is well tolerated by most skin types, because the plating sits between the silver alloy and your skin. If your skin reacts easily to metals, the titanium pieces in MNML's Elements collection are the most reliable choice.

Is the initial pendant a good gift?
